The Ngahinapouri Community Group has launched a website to keep the Community up to date with the initiatives and projects we have underway, check it out at www.ngahinapouri.com.  You can also join us on facebook ‘Ngahinapouri Community Group’.

 

We are in the process of securing a building that can be used to replaces the well-used but aging tennis pavilion between the tennis courts and Reid Park.  We hope to have more information on this in the next month or so.  This building would be able to be used by the wider community and the range of sporting clubs in the area.

 

This month we’ll be sending off applications to a number of charitable trusts to request funding for the replacement of our tennis courts.  We’re aiming to have the funds available for this work as we head into spring.

 

We also presented to the Waipa District Council 10 year plan hearing requesting that the realignment of Reid Road be brought forward from the currently scheduled 2023 timeline, to around 2017/18.
