Ngahinapouri Tennis Club

The courts were opened around 1912.  For a number of years friendly matches were played with neighbouring clubs and gradually these became quite competitive.

Although not an active year round tennis club, Ngahinapouri Tennis does provide ladies tennis mornings over the summer, coaching for juniors and an organised Business House competition of six teams held in February/March every year.

The courts are always open for community members to play whenever they wish, and the courts are also used extensively by the school, not only for tennis, but also as an all-weather playing surface.
